About
Nick Higgins teaches Jazz saxophone and improvisation in related styles Blues, Funk and World Music. He has been working as a freelance musician for over twenty years in a wide variety of styles and situations including Jazz ensembles, from trio to Big-band, Latin jazz and salsa bands, Saxophone quartets and in improvisational settings drawing on World music. Highlights have included appearances at Cork, Newcastle and Leeds Jazz festivals and The Vortex Jazz Club, London.
Other areas of work have included Theatre tours , Cruise ships, TVÂ sessions and playing in Horn-sections.
