Contemporary Issues in HRM

The module provides the opportunity to select, research and critically assess a range of contemporary HR issues in organisational life such as new ways of working, AI and job design, employee wellbeing and mental health, equality, diversity and inclusivity in the workplace, ethics and HR, HR analytics and the multi-generational work force. These change year on year depending on current hot topics and student interests.

The module explores the nature and implications of these issues and how the HR function contributes to effectively managing them.

Assessment:
Paper of 3,000 words on a topic of interest to the student.
