You will be introduced to play therapy principles, the latest research and how to put non-directive play into practice.
In this module, you will learn how to communicate with children using music and movement, play therapy skills through sand play, set up a safe playroom and therapeutic play service and establish and assess therapeutic relationships.
You will also assess the impact of current research, including your own practice, on healing children’s emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties.
