You will be supported in recognising and developing your teacher identity, knowledge, understanding and appreciation of professional roles and responsibilities within professional frameworks.

The module aims to enable you to begin to develop your own personal educational philosophies, so that you can apply these in the classroom and articulate them to other professionals.

You will also critically evaluate good practice in planning, teaching, assessment and behaviour management. The module will explore key issues relating to inclusion, equality and diversity, SEND and the implications of these in the classroom.  It critically explores issues relating to safeguarding children and their implications for good practice.
